Before you start taking orders, set up your shop profile. This information will appear on all invoices sent to your customers.
Tap the Settings option from the navigation menu.
Your personal name and email are shown here. These are read-only and cannot be changed.
Tap Edit Profile to update your shop name, logo, address, and other business details.
Use the Download option to export your data — customer records, measurements, orders — as a PDF or CSV file for backup or analysis.
Categories define the types of garments you stitch (e.g., Shirt, Salwar, Blouse). You must create categories before taking orders. Categories are gender-specific.
After logging in for the first time, you will be directed to the Category setup page.
Choose Male or Female from the gender tabs on the left side.
Tap the + Add icon on the right side to open the Add Category form.
Enter the category name (e.g., Shirt, Pant, Blouse). Choose an icon from the predefined list, or upload your own custom icon.
Add all measurement fields required for this garment — e.g., Shoulder, Chest, Collar, Length, etc.
Add common remarks for this category — e.g., 'Open Shirt', 'Narrow Pants', 'Boat Neck'. These will appear as quick-select options while creating orders.
Categories are fully editable. You can add new measurement fields or remarks anytime in the future.
The Customer page stores all your customer profiles including their name, contact number, gender, and address.
Tap Customers in the main navigation.
Tap the + Add button on the top-right corner of the Customers page.
Enter the following details:
Tap Save Customer. The customer is now stored and ready for order creation.
Orders in TailorWale follow a simple step-by-step flow: select category → enter measurements → checkout. Here is the complete process.
Step-by-Step Order Creation
Navigate to New Order and select the garment category (e.g., Shirt). Only categories matching the customer's gender will be shown.
Fill in all measurement fields for the selected garment. At the bottom, also enter:
If the customer needs multiple garments, tap Save and Add Another Item. All added items appear in a draft bill on the right side.
When all items are added, tap Proceed to Checkout to open the Review & Checkout form.
In the checkout form:
Tap Confirm Order. The order and bill are created instantly, and you are taken to the Orders page.
TailorWale automatically generates a professional invoice for every order. The invoice shows the bill on the front and the customer's measurements on the back — everything a tailor needs on one page.
Tap Bills in the navigation menu to see all created bills.
Find the order and tap the Printer icon next to it. The invoice opens in a new tab and downloads automatically.
From the invoice tab you can:
The Measurements page stores all customer measurement history. You can quickly create a repeat order for any returning customer in just one click.
Tap Measurements in the navigation.
Type the customer's name in the search bar to find their profile.
Tap the profile icon on the right side of the customer's name.
On the left side of the profile, all saved garment categories are listed. Tap any category to instantly add it to a draft bill.
All selected categories populate the draft bill. Tap Proceed to Checkout to complete the order — same flow as a new order.
The Reminders page is your daily planning tool — ensuring you never miss a delivery or pending payment.
| Section | Details |
|---|---|
| Today's Orders | All orders that are due for delivery today |
| Tomorrow's Orders | Orders scheduled for delivery tomorrow — plan ahead |
| Pending Payments | Customers who have an outstanding balance to collect |
The Enterprise Plan unlocks Staff Management, allowing you to add team members with role-based access. Each staff member sees only what they need.
| Role | Access Level |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full access including Settings, Staff Management, Reports, and all operations |
| Manager | Full access except Settings page — can manage customers, orders, bills |
| Staff | Limited access — can handle day-to-day operations but not admin functions |
| Karigar | View-only for assigned orders — can mark orders as Ready/Complete |
Navigate to the Staff Management page (Enterprise Plan only).
Tap Add Staff and fill in the staff member's name, email address, and select their role.
TailorWale automatically sends a login email to the staff member's email address with their credentials and role details.
When a Karigar marks an order as Ready, the status updates automatically on the main dashboard — keeping you informed in real time.
Explore every feature and streamline your tailoring business with confidence.
